When you’re scrolling through Instagram or watching the latest music videos, you’re usually focused on the stars – but if you look closely, you might spot one of our Wheelhouse LA motorhomes making a cameo! In a fun turn of events, two of our production trailers recently popped up in public posts by hip-hop heavyweights Wiz Khalifa and Key Glock. No, this isn’t an endorsement (more on that in the disclaimer), but it’s definitely a behind-the-scenes win for our team. We’re excited to share a peek at how our WH5 “Platine” Luxury Celebrity Motorhome and WH1 Talent Production Motorhome were spotted quietly doing their thing on set.
One of the sleekest members of our fleet, the Wheelhouse 5 (WH5) “Platine” Luxury Celebrity Motorhome, made a subtle appearance in a recent Instagram post by Wiz Khalifa. In the photo, Wiz is doing his thing, but of course our eyes went straight to the background, where the WH5 was parked as part of the backstage setup. See the post here.
This top-of-the-line motorhome is built for comfort, efficiency, and privacy on high-pressure production days. The WH5 features 4 makeup stations, 3 bathrooms, and a retractable queen-size bed, along with a wine cooler, electric fireplace, and Smart TV setup — making it an ideal mobile basecamp for talent and crews alike.
While we can’t speak to exactly how it was used on this particular shoot, the WH5 is designed to serve as a self-contained green room, prep area, or rest zone — perfect for productions that demand both mobility and luxury. It’s always rewarding to see our trailers show up in the wild, especially when they’re part of something this cool.
Meanwhile, Key Glock’s official music video for “Glockaveli” opens with a continuous one-take shot showing the artist walking through an active set — starting with a step out of the WH1 Talent Production Motorhome. It’s a great glimpse into how production trailers support the energy and movement of a fast-paced video shoot.
The WH1 is a go-to unit in our fleet — a 36-foot rig built with versatility in mind. It features a full hair and makeup station, a 12-foot wardrobe rack, and a 3/4 bath with a shower, making it ideal for styling, costume changes, and mid-day resets. The dual entry doors allow crews and talent to access different sides of the trailer without getting in each other’s way, keeping the flow smooth on busy sets.
From the opening moments of the video, you can get a sense of how a trailer like the WH1 integrates into the rhythm of a production — providing both function and comfort behind the scenes.
